How do I set up my calls or emails to generate from a specific number or email address?

    Desktop or Laptop

When sending individual follow-up emails during a calltime session, selecting the 'Draft Email' button will automatically populate your Email Template into the default email provider on your computer such as Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, Mail app, etc.

    • Gmail in Chrome - If you use Chrome as your browser and want to use a Gmail address as your default sending email, we would suggest making Gmail the default email program for that email's user profile in Chrome. How to add a user profile in Google Chrome: Add a new profile

To set up Gmail as your default email handler in Chrome, please follow the steps below:

      • Close any open Gmail tabs.
      • Type chrome://settings/handlers into your Chrome address bar and press enter.
      • Make sure "Allow sites to ask to become default handlers for protocols" is enabled then close this tab.
      • Launch Gmail and you should now see an overlapping diamond icon at the right of the address bar. Click that to allow Gmail as your default email handler.

To set up Outlook as your default email handler:

      • Open the Mail App in order to access your computer's default email client settings
      • From the Mail App, go to the top menu and click Mail, dropdown to Settings and select General (the gear icon)
      • From the Default Email Reader dropdown and choose Microsoft Outlook

      • Close out of the Mail app once you have made changes
      • In Google Chrome, type chrome://settings/handlers into your Chrome address bar and press enter.
      • Make sure "Allow sites to ask to become default handlers for protocols" is enabled then close this tab
      • To verify that mailto links are opening through Outlook, select Draft Email through a calltime list follow-up email

      • Tip: Search Default Apps/Mailto to see your default Email app

        (iPhone, Android, iPad)

        • iPhone - We recommend that you set up the email you want to send messages from on the native Mail app on iPhones, as line breaks and formatting are best in that application.  We have many teams that use the Mail app to send emails via Numero, and continue to use their Gmail app for normal email functions. This also helps if you'd like to set the default email address for the Mail app to be a campaign email or an email that is not your own.
        • Android - We recommend that you set up the email you want to send messages from on the BlueMail app or Samsung mail app (if you have a Samsung device), as line breaks and formatting are best in those applications.  We have many teams that use the BlueMail or Samsung apps to send emails via Numero, and continue to use their Gmail app for normal email functions. This also helps if you'd like to set the default email address for the native Mail app to be a campaign email or an email that is not your own.

        Call FAQ

Can outgoing calls be linked to the Google Voice App rather than the phone app itself?

        • Apple iOS doesn’t allow for you to call using third party applications.  However, most new iPhones come with the capability to add a second SIM card that allows you to call from another number.  Certain carriers have activated this feature and others have not. Let us know what carrier you use, and we can tell you whether this is an option. Further instructions on how to set up a dual SIM: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209044
