How do I bulk update counties?

If you are looking to add a County to your existing contacts' addresses in bulk, follow the instructions below:

1. Export the contacts whose County you want to update. Be sure to export All data. If your file is more than 50k contacts please email support@numero.ai for assistance. 

2. In your export, find the column labeled Primary Address County, that is where you'll be placing the Counties

3. Sort the file by city, then add the corresponding counties

4. Once you've updated the file with all of the counties, save it as a CSV and re-import it into Numero

5. When you re-import, use the Contact ID to match the imports to their existing contact records to prevent duplicates. Make sure to also map Primary Address Line 1, City, State, Zip, and County. You should exclude all other properties.

Note: Counties cannot be updated using the bulk actions feature since a contact may have more than one county in their profile if they have more than one address. Bulk importing is the most efficient way to add counties to existing addresses in bulk.
