How do I send a proof of my broadcast email?
Once you have crafted the perfect broadcast email template, what's next?
Before you send it officially to the audience of your choosing, you'll want to send a proof to view what it would look like. See below for steps on how to send a proof. This article will also show how to change your viewing of the broadcast email message, whether it be viewing from a desktop, tablet, or mobile device.
How to send a proof: After you have built your email with your chosen audience, details, and message, you will want to send a proof to yourself or your teammates so that you can view what the broadcast email will look like
- From the Message tab, select Send Proofs in the top right side
- A slideout will appear on the right-hand side where you'll be able to:
- Select the recipient dropdown or enter the email addresses for those who will need to be sent a proof - you can specify up to 50 recipients to receive proofs!
- Choose which proofs will be sent to the selected recipients
- Random - A random sampling for up to 10 contacts from your audience
- Specific - Select a specific audience contact
- When you're ready to send the proofs, select Send Proofs and keep an eye on your inbox, or give a heads-up to those recipients who were selected so they can view the proofs on their end
- FYI, you'll know you received the proofs as they will be labeled as proof in the subject line!
- Lastly, if you need to view who received proofs already and who from the team sent them, you can select the envelope icon next to the Send Proofs option. A new slide out will appear on the right side displaying who received the proofs, which contacts were either randomly selected or specifically selected, and who sent the proofs
