How do I create or edit a template for my action page?
The template of your Action Pages (Sign Up pages and Petitions) holds your logo, background colors and photos, share image, font and button colors, and layout options. To create a new Action Page template or edit an existing one, select the Action Pages tab and select the Templates button in the top right corner of the page.
To edit an existing template select the orange edit option to the far right of the form. You can also duplicate an existing form if you would like to make a new form similar to any that already exist. When you edit an existing form be sure to select the Update Template button at the top of the page to save any changes.
To create a new form select the +Add Page Template button at the top right of the page.
In the general section, you'll name your template (be specific- it helps when selecting from multiple templates in a list when you can't see what they look like). Next, select a background color for your form (if you'll use an image instead in the Background Image section then we'll use this color when the form is pulled up on a mobile device or tablet only). You'll also select a title color which will be used as the color of the text shown above your form. You can then upload your logo and choose the placement of that logo on the page (top left, center, right).
You have the option to upload a background image to be used when your form is pulled up on desktops and laptops. The correct sizing for a background image is:
- W: 1366 px
- H: 768 px
- Ratio 16:9
- Export the file as a JPG at 90%
You can also opt to upload a share image. When you share your payment processing link with others via social media or text message, we'll include the image you upload in the Share Image section. The correct size for a share image is:
- W: 1200 px
- H: 634 px
- Ratio 1.91:1
- Export the file as a JPG at 90%
Select the Select background image and Select share image buttons to upload your images.
You can also crop and resize the image when you upload it. Drag and drop your images or browse and select them from your device.
Next, select the layout of the page. The form alignment will allow you to place the form on the right, in the center or on the left side of the page. If you aren't sure where you want your items to fall on your page, you can leave the default selections and come back to edit your form later.
Lastly, choose your form button colors and select Create Form Template.
