How do I pause or deactivate a sign-up or petition page?

You can pause or deactivate your sign-up or petition pages at any time. If you plan to pick up with submissions at another time and want to temporarily post a message to anyone who clicks through to your sign-up or petition page you'll want to choose the Pause option. If you plan to cease all submissions to the page and deactivate the URL you'll want to deactivate the page (this option does not provide a message to supporters as to why the page is no longer active). 

To pause or deactivate a page, select the Action Pages tab and select the ... option to the far right of the chosen page and select Pause or Deactivate. 

The pause option will prompt you to enter a custom message to tell your supporters why you are temporarily pausing submissions- we advise to give them an idea of when the page will be active again if you know that information. When you have completed your message, select Pause Page. The deactivate option will ask you if you are sure you want to deactivate, select Deactivate Page to deactivate the URL for all supporters with a link. 

To resume your paused page or reactivate a deactivated page Select the Action Pages tab, select the ... to the far right of the Paused or Deactivated form, and select Resume Page or Reactivate Page (for deactivated pages).

Select the Resume Form Button (for paused pages) or the Reactivate Page button (for deactivated pages).
