How do I use merge tags in the broadcast text message editor?
This guide explains how to use merge tags in the Broadcast Text Message Editor. Merge tags allow you to include specific contact or account properties in your messages, making them more personalized and relevant.
Follow these steps to insert merge tags:
Step 1: Select the Insert Merge Tag option from the toolbar.
Step 2: To include a property from a Contact Profile, hover over the word Contact and choose your desired merge tag.
Step 3: To include a property from the Committee level, select Insert Merge Tag from the toolbar, hover over the word Account, and choose your desired merge tag.
The merge tag will now appear in the text message copy in the editor on the left.
In the preview section on the right, the preview text populates. Select from the preview button dropdown on the right to choose whose information to preview.
