Using Rocket Scaler For Progressive Automated Sending

Using Rocket Scaler 🚀

Rocket Scaler was built with you and your teammates in mind. It'll allow you to send text or email broadcast messages in steps to progressively larger groups of recipients. You can set a performance metric goal (e.g., ROI, clicks, conversions) for a given step and automatically send to the audience in the next step when that metric meets a minimum required threshold. Let's go over how to utilize Rocket Scaler!

Step 1: In the Summary step of both Email and Text Broadcast flows, you'll see the Rocket Scaler tab. Click or scroll to that portion of the summary and +Add Step.

Step 2: Include the count of recipients you want to receive the message in the first step, reference codes (optional), and select the performance metric (Contributions Count, Conversion Rate, Submissions Conversion Rate, ROI, Click Rate) goal you intend to evaluate in the first step

Step 3: Choose if you want to Evaluate Full Broadcast. When this is enabled, the performance metric will be evaluated across all steps. If not enabled, the metric will only be evaluated using data from the specific step. This is less relevant for the first step, but more important for subsequent steps. It tells us whether you want us to evaluate each step independently of each other or evaluate the steps as a whole when determining if we should move to the next step. 

Step 4: Provide an Evaluation Time - the performance will be evaluated after this amount of time

Step 5: Next, select how to advance to the next step, either by choosing Automatically Send or Pause & Notify.

• Automatically Send - Numero will automatically send the next step when the performance metric passes the minimum value. If the performance metric does not meet the minimum value after the evaluation time, we will pause at this step, and you can choose to either cancel the remaining messages or continue to the next step, despite this step not meeting the performance metric. 
• Pause & Notify - Numero will email you to review the results and you will then manually send the next step

Step 6: If you're done adding steps, you'll see the remainder recipient count and you can add reference codes (optional). To create more steps, click + Add Step.
