How do I mark a piece of contact info as invalid?

Sometimes you call, email or send mail to a phone number, email address, or physical address that is no longer valid. To mark that piece of information as invalid, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Select the Contacts tab and search for the donor in whom you would like to update their contact information. 

2. When you click the donor's name to open their profile, you can mark any email, phone number, or address as invalid by hovering over the specific piece of information and selecting the red X icon. 

3. This will mark the piece of information as invalid. It won't delete the email, phone number or address completely. This is beneficial for your team, that way you don't find that same invalid email, phone number or address at a later time and attempt to contact the donor again. 

If you need to restore the information, you can hover over the information and select the circle icon.
