How do I set up contribution tracking for my broadcast email?
Your ability to create unique, prefilled, and tracked contributions for your emails is one of the easiest to use and most impactful features in our Email Builder. Activating Contribution Tracking on your email is also what allows us to provide real-time, automated reporting on the fundraising performance of your email which we know is crucial in giving you the peace of mind that this tool is worth every penny!
After building your Audience for the email you're sending, you are sent to the Details tab which is where you can add Contribution Tracking.
To enable Contribution Tracking toggle the button next to "Activate Tracking?" to yes.
Once you toggle the button to yes, you'll be able to choose which type of form link you want to track in your email. Your options are Numero, ActBlue, NGP, or Other. For your reference, we have displayed information about the features that each service provides to help you make your choice. Once you choose which type of form you want to use, you will choose the specific form you want to track and add any Reference Codes, Source Codes, or Member Codes. All contributions that are made through the provided form link via this email will automatically have any codes that you choose here applied to their contribution record in Numero.
If you're choosing Numero, select the form you want to use from the dropdown.
If you're using ActBlue, NGP, or another form link, you'll need to paste the form link into that field rather than choosing from a dropdown. When you add this link, it is required that you include https:// as part of the full link. If you choose any of the non-Numero options, we will still create SpeedyGive links if you use the SpeedyGive merge tag in the Message editor.
To create any of the codes, either choose an existing code from the dropdown or just start typing, then click create once you've completed typing your desired code.
