How I denote validated contact info like emails and phone numbers?
If your database contains both validated phone numbers, emails, or addresses (contact info that you know to be correct and verified as belonging to the donor) and unverified contact info you can utilize our validation feature to denote that in your platform.
Emails, addresses, and phones currently living on a contact's profile can be marked as validated and can also be marked as opted-out of communication in your platform. Validated contact info will appear with a green check mark and opted-out contact info will appear with a red slash mark. If you hover over the markings they will indicate when the piece of contact info was validated or opt-ed out. Please note that all contact info is self-verified by users of your platform. The only exception will be if you have Numero's Communications Center add-on where anyone who unsubscribed to your broadcast email messages will automatically be opted-out by Numero, but you can always restore them if it was done in error- learn more.
To mark an email, address, or phone as validated or opted- out click on the pencil icon to the far right of the piece of contact information, if you do not see the pencil icon hover over the label on the piece of contact info and it will appear. Once clicked, you'll be able to toggle the Validated option to Yes/No and the Opted-Out option to Yes/No.
