How do I download broadcast message activity?

You can create a report of line-by-line records to any broadcast email or text with a Messages export. This report will generate your preferred fields including Provider, Contact ID, Failure Descriptions, and more.

Exporting Broadcast Messages

To export line-by-line the reaction to any broadcast email or text, select the 'More' dropdown from your Comms Center work area in your main menu. Select your preferred broadcast method for your report (Email Message or Text Messages).

From the Broadcast Messages tab, select the Add Filter button and narrow down your search. Narrow your search criteria by:

  • Email Broadcast (Name, Category, Date, and Message Code) is one of OR is not one of
  • Status (Delivered, Bounced, Opened, Clicked, etc.)
  • Sent Date (Exact Dates, Ranges, and more)
  • Contribution Amounts (Applicable to Broadcasts with Performance Tracking enabled)
  • More Details including: Opens Count, Opened Date, Clicks Count, Clicked Date, Spam Complaint Date, Unsubscribed Date, and Provider

*Why would I reimport data using this file? đŸ’¡Based on the behavior from previous broadcast activity, users might choose to bulk apply a Ranking, Contact Code, Primary Email Opt-Out date, etc. By importing with a matching property of Contact ID and email address you can append this new information to the existing contact's record.
