How do you match named and nameless contacts?

Numero will match named contacts accordingly:

• Named to Named Contacts - if an individual has same name first and last name or first name only for organizations, and at least one other matching property (email, phone, full address, employer/occupation set), we will merge and update the contact upon import or upon incoming information from an external source like an ActBlue webhook. 
  
  Example: Jack Sheridan at 123 Main St. Yellowville, VF 34567, email jack@numero.io, and a phone of 123-456-7891 already exists in Numero, Jack Sheridan with just an email of jack@numero.ai is imported. We will merge these two contacts without creating a duplicate. 

Numero will match nameless contacts accordingly: 

• Nameless to Nameless Contacts - Nameless contact will match / dedupe to existing Nameless contacts on primary phone or primary email.
  
  Example: Nameless contact jack@numero.ai already exists in Numero, another nameless contact jack@numero.ai is imported, they will now merge together vs create a duplicate contact. Same goes for nameless contacts who only have phones. When they merge, new information from the import will be appended. For example, if my nameless contact import with email jack@numero.ai also has a new phone number, contact code, notes, etc that will be appended to the existing nameless contact with jack@numero.ai as primary email
• Nameless to Named Contacts - Nameless contact will match/ dedupe to existing Numero contacts on primary phone or primary email. 
  
  Example: Named contact Jack Sheridan exists in Numero with email jack@numero.ai, nameless contact whose email is jack@numero.ai is imported, it will merge the nameless to the pre-existing named contact and append it with any other new info from the nameless import.
• Named to Nameless Contacts - We do not match incoming named contacts to nameless contacts.
  
  Example: You cannot import Jack Sheridan with email jack@numero.ai and expect it to merge with existing nameless contact that only has email of jack@numero.ai. A dupe will be created.
