Enable Gift Equivalencies at Checkout
Gift Equivalencies allow you to translate abstract donation amounts into tangible impacts. By showing donors exactly how their contributions benefit your committee in real-dollar terms, you can create a more compelling connection between a gift and an example of its result.
How to Enable Gift Equivalencies
1. Navigate to your Contribution Pages and select the name of the specific contribution page you wish to update. This will take you to the page's form editor.
2. Scroll to locate the Gift Equivalency toggle and switch the toggle to On to display the descriptions under your contribution buttons.
- Note: For use, this setting must be enabled on each individual contribution page.

3. While Numero provides standard defaults, you can customize these to fit your committee's specific needs. Edit the descriptions directly within the form builder to match your committees use of contributions. If you change your button amounts, you can also update your gift equivalency amounts to match.
- If more lines are needed, select the +Add Gift Equivalency button.
- Reset to Global Equivalencies: If you want to restart on your descriptions, choose the Reset to Global Equivalencies button to start over.
- Global Defaults: To overhaul the default options for all new pages, select Manage Global Equivalencies. This allows you to set your own custom standards that will automatically populate on any future page you add Gift Equivalencies to.

3. To save your settings, select the Update Page button. Then, when you navigate to your contribution page, the gift equivalency options you created will show as different amounts are selected.
- The gift equivalency will only populate as the donor clicks the amount button. This field will not show on the receipt or the contribution record within Numero.
